Usually 5 lbs of seed potatoes cut into pieces (1-2 eyes per piece) will be enough to plant a 30' row of potatoes. If you do cut your potatoes, make sure to allow 3-4 days for the flesh on the cut pieces to heal or "suberize" before planting.
