WebIn other words, when Jesus sees a disciple hindering a child from coming to him, he sees someone who is in danger of missing the kingdom because of pride. If you are receiving the kingdom yourself like a little child, then you will not do anything to hinder little children from coming to Jesus. WebChildren have a humble openness to the message of Jesus and the salvation He offers. We can learn from their vulnerability. Jesus presented a gentle openness to the children. He touched them with compassion and protected them from others. We are called to follow Jesus’ example. Children are not irrelevant, little beings to be discarded.
