WebMar 20, 2024 · Great trip report ! I think you should have done the Dolly Sods to prepare for that hike I never figured out the elevation gain but 7000ft sounds a lot bigger. I day hike at the Dolly Sods and can go from one end to the other and back in 1 day but it's hard to find people up for it many spread it out over 2 to 3 days.
