I retired from the AF Reserves a few years ago and have been enrolled in TRICARE Select since I turned 60. I plan to retire as a federal employee when I turn 63, which will be July 2024, next year. WebYou can’t deny FEHB to use TRS though. If you’re eligible for FEHB in any capacity you can’t use TRS. If you choose not to use FEHB that’s fine, but it doesn’t create eligibility for tricare. Currently the only way to use tricare as someone eligible for FEHB is as a dependent. See the eligibility section.
