Not totally dead fretting out but with enough of a slight buzzing to sound like a sitar, especially when using distortion. I have raised it at the bridge to the point of silliness and tried different types of string trees or none at all.

I changed the bridge to a Gotoh 6 saddle and everything seemed good. Got some GuitarFetish locking tuners and put some fresh strings and all of a sudden sitar. Web13 de out. de 2011 · The sitar sound - which I suppose is technically a buzz - occurs only with the high E string and only on the third fret, regardless of pitch, so I'm guessing it must be a fret. Is it more likely to be a fret end too high or too low, and would I see that by laying a metal straight edge across the frets?
