Which is the security … Web18 dec. 2012 · It is a 2 minute job! Take the 3 screws out of the bottom plastic trim under the wheel. Turn the key on while pushing the little indent under the key tumbler and pull. Tumbler comes out, the little plastic piece pops up, fold it under the trim out of the way. Put the tumbler back and screws in. As easy as it can be.

Even the accessory position will chime if you're listening to the radio or something. And when it is chiming for the key, it does it until you close the door or remove the key, not stop after 2 chimes. At the rear of it (toward gauge cluster) is a small plug with 4 slots, but only 2 wires coming out of the one side of it. Unplug that wire and you will not have any chime.
