I used the 10% stat boost from the Masterwork and a Superb Cleansing Rune. 10% stat boost is a waste when adding a useful ability is so much better, and lol at figuring in the boost from a Superb Cleansing Rune to a staff's base DPS. A rune that does absolutely nothing against like half the enemies in the game.

WebYou can't get above 200dps with a staff unless you're using one of the class-specific runes (Corrupting, Cleansing, etc.) Those runes really aren't all that useful, given that they do not affect other classes. So if you have a 75dps staff and a +50 cleansing rune, you only do 75dps against all non-corrupted enemies.

The only way to get more is to not close the rifts in the Exalted Plains that spawn them and then to farm those rifts. So if you do your job right, you don't get the resources you need.
